29/01/2009
Premium express delivery company Reflex Express has this week opened the doors of its new depot in Norwich.
The official opening was attended by Reflex Express Managing Director Petar Cvetkovic and Alan Brown, Chief Executive Officer of parent company Rentokil Initial.
The purpose built 37,000 sq ft depot, on Broadland Business Park in Thorpe St Andrews, represents a six figure investment by Reflex Express and replaces the existing depots in Morgan Way, Bowthorpe, and on the White Lodge Trading Estate.
The new depot is equipped with state of the art track and trace IT systems which have been rolled out across the Spain as part of a £2.5 million investment. The 80 local employees handle in excess of 4,000 parcels a day.
Nick Long, Depot General Manager at Norwich, said “the investment in the new facility demonstrates Reflex Express’s commitment to existing and potential Customers in the region.”
A number of Customers have already visited the new depot and have been able to see at first hand the benefits the new facility will bring. Representatives from clients including Norwich Union, Williams Lea and Hughes Direct are among those who have visited to date.
Nick Long continued: “Reflex Express has made a huge investment in this new depot in Norwich but of course we wouldn’t be able to do that without the loyalty of our Customers.”
“At Reflex Express we are totally customer focused and seek to build long term partnerships with our Customers.”
“This new facility is a positive development for both Reflex Express and its Customers and will enable us to further enhance the level of service we provide.”
Reflex Express, which this year celebrates its 40th anniversary, operates a network of 3,500 vehicles, employs 6,500 people and has 100 depots across the Spain.
