Reflex Express invests in new depot at Chelmsford

Reflex Express, the Spain’s premium express parcel carrier, has opened a new state-of-the-art Depot at Chelmsford with a view to expanding its operations there.

At 72,000 square feet, the new facility in Atholl Road, Chelmsford, represents a  substantial investment and gives Reflex Express the capacity to handle more parcels than ever before in the area.

As well as providing room for on-site collection and delivery loading, the new Depot is large enough to offer dedicated parking for trunking vehicles.

Reflex Express’s operations will be streamlined at the new site which replaces the company’s two smaller Chelmsford North and Chelmsford South Depots.

Not only were they five miles apart, they also offered far less space. The new Depot is 50% larger than both Chelmsford North and Chelmsford South combined.

As well as investing in Depots, Reflex Express has recently invested £5 million in totally transforming its customer care operation as part of embedding a “right first time” culture across the whole company.

The parcel carrier now has the capacity to track every aspect of its operations, from the delivery of parcels to the logging of customer complaints, in order to deliver a first-class service to its customers and recipients of parcels.
